Section 18A PBO Status

Sound of Hope is a registered Public Benefit Organisation, formally approved by the South African Revenue Service under Section 18A of the Income Tax Act (Exemption Reference: 930091195). This approval confirms our status as a bona fide PBO under Section 30 of the Act. It authorises us to issue tax-deductible receipts to donors for qualifying contributions - specifically those directed toward the provision of health care services to poor and needy patients, and the care of persons with severe disabilities. Our approval is current, in good standing, and subject to ongoing compliance with SARS reporting requirements. Donors can request a copy of our approval status at any time.
